Numax DC31MF and Orion Smart DC-DC and Smart shunt settings

Hi,

I have 3 x Numax DC31MF batteries making 315ah in total,

I have a Orion Smart dc-dc charger and a smart shunt

I have tried contacting Numax for the settings to set but so far no joy, does anyone have the recommended settings to use for both devices?

Thanks very much

Hi @rmuk,

can't help you with the data sheet. But from experience with sealed lead acid batteries I suggest not to go beyond 14.4V absorption voltage to prevent from excessive gassing and bulk time limit max. 8 hours. Float voltage 13.8V.

Hope that helps.
