Is there a leakage current when connecting this cable when it is not in use? Just the cable ist Connect without charger

M6 / M8 cable lug connector without fuse accessory for the Blue Smart IP65 charger with DC connection.

As far as I am aware leakage current happens in AC only beacuse of capacitors and the like in electronics. But this is DC connected.
Are you referring to like a self discharge type thing, have not seen or experienced anything like that.
But obviously if you short the pins together bad things can happen. Hence the fancy rubber cover over it. Or you can sort out a fused connection for extra safety.
