Update Quattro "Switch Position" with Victron API

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a way via Victron API to update the "Switch Position" field of a Quattro Inverter. I'm looking to update the value from "On" to "Charger Only" when the need arises. Having a look at the documentation in "https://docs.victronenergy.com/vrmapi/overview.html#retrieve-diagnostic-data-all-current-installation-data"

I don't seem to see any related "POST" method to achieve this. What am I missing?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Hi @lasho ,

The VRM API indeed doesn't allow any sending back of commands or data.

Instead, to do that remotely, you can best use MQTT. More information here:

Does that mean "POST" commands will not be included in the API at all in the future or is it on the roadmap at some point?
