SKYLLA 24V 15A charger ---> TS400 DC-DC Converter ---> LiIo-Battery 25,9V - possible?

Hello,

is it possible to connect a SKYLLA 24V 15A charger (older model no TG)
via a TS400 DC-DC-Converter to a Lithium-Ion-battery (25,9V nominal)?

Background:
TS400 is to be installed to convert 28V+ coming from alternator to max. 29V to charge Lithium battery.

SKYLLA is onboard (charged AGM batteries until now). Should charge Li-battery via TS400.

Purpose:
to Charge Li-battery (with constantly 29V), either via alternator or shore power (SKYLLA).

Does this make sense?

Thank you.
Stay safe.

I think you'd be better off with one of the Orion smart units to new battery, rather than a simple buck boost.

All components are present. I'll try to use them as are instead buying new stuff. They weren't cheap either ...

Replacing a new lithium battery isn't cheap either. If your battery has a built in BMS with charge control that will handle the input voltage without triggering voltage protection, may work, but you need to check carefully with the battery supplier.
