ET112 - fuse requirements?

Hello,

In the manual, it's mentioned to put a fuse on the neutral wire when connecting the ET112 (https://www.victronenergy.com/live/energy-meters:et112), but it doesn't state what type of fuse?
There's not much information to be found. A manual from Carlo Gavazzi makes it look like this is optional (https://gavazziautomation.com/images/PIM/DATASHEET/ENG/ET112_DS_ENG.PDF), but it's not clear at all.

The manual states regarding that fuse:

„If required by local law“ This is from a 3 phase meter manual, but it will be the same for the 1 phase meter. So it seems you have to ask your lawyer about this fuse ;o)

Thanks for this info Markus, I will check with my lawyer ;-)

I do need a new inspection of my electrical system anyway, so I'll see what that guy has to say, but I don't think it'll be required for me (I have another type of power meter for my solar panels and there's no additional fuse there).
