Smart Solar Bluetooth data sniffer

Hi All,

I’m new to Victron community and need help from the members. I’m trying to sniff the smart solar data over nrf sniffer but looks like Victron ble protocol is not public( as per other threads).

So what is the best way forward? Will Victron sales ppl be willing to help me or any other suggestions?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Do you explicitly need to use Bluetooth ?

Using a hard wire approach with the VE.Direct interface might prove a viable alternative, and in my opinion, more reliable and robust, as well as the protocol being well described and relatively easy to work with with application programming.

Are you wanting to sniff the data because you are developing some software?

Yes, I'm trying to build an app where for solar we are using Victron smart solar.

Is there any documentation regarding the protocol, I did not find anything online, if you could point me where i can find it, that will be great. :)
