How do you control the MPPTs in a system with a VE.Bus BMS and a Venus GX device?

Hi,

If I have a ve.bus BMS connected to venus, along with some MPPTs also connected to venus, does venus integrate with the BMS and shut down the MPPT chargers in the case of over voltage?

OR

do you have to connect the MPPTs to the BMS via a "ve.direct non-inverting remote ON/OFF" cable?

Hi,

Answer: If the BMS you have is displayed in the Venus main menu, as not all BMS'es integrate with a VenusGX, then the BMS will manage the fast overvoltages, the system overall taking a few moments to throttled back.

... if I understood your question correctly.
