Victron Blue Smart 12_25 does not charge a 12v 100 Ah LiFePo4

Hi all,

Following situation:

a new (1 cycle) 12V 100 Ah LiFePo4 with bluetooth connection which will deliver power to the air heater of my Van. Was only used for a about 20 hours (2 Amps) for testing.

A Victron Blue Smart 12/25 was used in October to fully charge this battery.

Now after the tests (38% remaining) I tryed to charge the battery but the Victron Blue Smart 12/25 jumps imidiatelly to Absorption charging with 14,20V with 0,0 A. Battery and charger are about 18 degree celcious.

The settings are correct and I restart the charging several times.

I can charge the battery with another normal charger.

Any ideas why this High End equipment is not working?

Thanks a lot

Andreas

What is the actual voltage of the battery according to the app for the battery? You could even measure the battery terminal Voltage with a multimeter if you have one.
The charger goes to absorb if it measures 14.2V on it's leads, right. So if the actual battery Voltage is lower than 14.2V (as the charger sees it) then there is quite possibly a bad connection between the charger and the battery.
