Does MultiRS Solar 48/6000 Dual Tracker Support Feed into Grid?

Hi,

I have off grid system with Quattro 10KW, MPPT 450/100, 14KW SolarMD and 8x455Wp PV panels.

My system works off grid now, but I want to feed into grid via a hybrid inverter.


I am planning to use Victron Energy Multi RS Solar 48/6000 dual tracker.

Is it support feed into grid today with latest firmware? (date: 2024.04.25)

Hi,

I have the Multi RS with dual tracker and it doesn't support feeding into the grid.

There was discussions related to that since long time ago, but nothing has changed. The hardware might support it from what I understood, but the firmware doesn't.

I think you'd need a Multiplus-II to feed back into the grid.

I'm not 100% sure the Multi RS wouldn't work though.

The RS doesn’t yet support ESS as there is no certified grid code. This is documented. It is a work in progress.

Until then, you need a quattro or multiplus.
