Cannot enable ESS External Control

Hi,


My setup is a 3-phase system with three MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 (UPS mode), Cerbo GX and a REC-BMS controlled LiFePO battery.

I have an external energy management system that controls solar gen, grid metering and battery, but I've noticed that it likes to fight with ESS, mostly by trying to compensate for ESS optimizations.

I've tried enabling External Control, but it switches back to Optimized immediately.

Is there any reason why it doesn't allow External Control to be enabled?

VenusOS is v3.40 (but this is an issue since v3.10 at least)

Hi, You are using a beta GUI.

Try using the prod GUI and Venus OS, if that does not work please follow this guidance for help:
