MPPT 100/30 troubleshooting, is it bad?

System: MPPT 100/30 and 150/70

Solar arrays A: single 200w panel, array B has 2s2p 200w panels. These are Rich Solar 24 panels with open circuit voltage spec of 45.4v

With array A on the 100/30 and array B on the 150/70, the 100/30 show a voltage of 45.2 and amps of .07. The 150/70 shows voltage of 72.9 and amps of 7.59.

If I swap the arrays, so B is on the 100/30 and A is the 150/70 I get voltage on the 100/30 of 89.6 and amps of .04 the 150/70 shows voltage of 36.8 and amps of 3.85.

So it appear that the 100/30 is reading voltage to high or cause the panels to see an open circuit?

Both MPPT controllers report correct battery voltage and both are in bulk mode.

Could be a conflict between Smart Networking and DVCC if both are enabled.

My dealer sent me the tests Victron requires before authorizing a warranty claim. Tests differ depending on MPPT model. Battery connected, pv disconnected, continuity between pv posts shows a short. Warranty repair needed.

Was running DVCC, not smart networking. Both were disabled for this test. I've also tested with DVCC on and with DVCC off and smart networking on. I get the same results.

600ah of lithium batteries, both MPPT controllers set the same: absorption at 14.40 and float at 13.60

Both MPPT controllers to a Lynx distributor.

If the battery voltage wont rise - It basically is not full, Lithiums can take all the power the solar can send it and the voltage will not rise until is at around 98% full. JUST keep charging them they will fill it just takes time and also depends on the amount of solar coming in and the size of the battery bank

It does look like there's a fault. What happens if only the 100/30 is used? Battery is is pretty full, but there's a reasonable SC load for it to service.

It would be worth checking what the 100/30 does when the other MPPT is completely disconnected. Also check the cabling between the 100/30 and battery. Could be a problem there.
