Trickle charge negative

Hello


i saw that the multi 2 has a Trickle charge,,, i got few questions....


  1. Do we need to have a negative plug to the truck batterie?
  2. Is it always live? (Will it drain the "house" battery" of the RV?
  3. Is there a way to active it from a switch or via Modbus TCP?

1. Both batteries need to have the same ground connection.

2. It's always on and I don't recommend to use it if the house battery is lithium because lithium has a higher idle voltage.

3. No, it's always on.
