Temperature sensor fault

Hi. I have been using the standard temperature sensor for my Cerbo GX to tell me the outside temperature for the last year or so with no problems. We recently had a lightning strike very nearby and since then the readout from the sensor is about 30 deg C below the actual temperature! I have removed the sensor both physically and electronically from the system and reinstalled, but the fault remains each time. Could anyone shed some light on this please?

First guess is that you need a new sensor.

Second guess - a new Cerbo-GX?

Try connecting the sensor to a different input (the Cerbo has 4 ports for temperature sensors).If the wrong value continues to be displayed, the sensor is probably broken. If the sensor shows the correct value, the Cerbo sensor input is probably defective.

@Fronque

Assuming the Cerbo is fine. Are you using °F?

Have you tried calibration?
