Multiplus II - will I need an external sensor?

Hi,

my grid connection and main power meter are located on the outside of my house, from which there are two main lines branching off to two different power centrals.

I would like my M+2 to sit in-line between the main meter and one of the centrals, powering all loads on that power central (majority of the building).

Feeding the grid must be avoided.

Would an external sensor be required in this case?

My goal is to only draw power from the ACin when the energy storage needs topping up, at night, and if manually triggered, and otherwise provide power from the storage on ACout to the power central.

TY

Given you will power all the loads from AC out, the inverter's metering can be used and no external meter is required.
