Recently acquired the Victron EV Charging Station NS. I already had a solar system in place with three Victron 10kVA quattros, Fronius PV inverter and cerbo GX as the controlling device. My concern is the system was already communicating via a LAN with ethernet cables and the EV Charging station point for installation is about 25m away from the power room housing the PV electronics.
So far From what I have read, establishing communication with the Charging station is via WiFi. I am wondering if there is an option for a wired connection for the Modbus communication with the Cerbo GX. How is the Modbus communication established?
