When sending back to the grid. How is this triggered?

Soon our system will provide enough power that we end up with excess solar that we want to export to the grid. My question is, what triggers the system to start exporting.

We have two 48v Multis, two Smart lithium 200 AH 25.6v along with a pair of Mppts and the usual other accessories.

Once the batteries start reaching 100% the MPPT's start throttling down as there is no place for the solar power to go.

If its done on the batteries reaching 100%, then the batteries will not get a chance to go into absorption.

If its done after absorption, the manufacture setting for this is two hours. At that stage the sun may have gone.

The above options are automatic settings. Is it possible to have a virtual switch that can be turned On or Off remotely, depending on our needs for that particular day.

@Tighernan

Your settings trigger the feedback. For example....

You switch on feed in excess and then the minimum SOC in case of grid faliure is the trigger.

So if you set it as a full battery, only after the battery is full the system will feedback whatever is excess to needs in the house loads.

All configured through the GX by the user so easily adjusted.
