Firmware board swap

Hi all


I’m just wondering if it’s feasible to swap the firmware boards of two Multiplus II’s? We got a number wrong and have a 2628 and a 2629, wondering if it’s possible to put another 2628 board that we have into the 2629 unit so they can talk to each other?


I have a feeling some bricking might be involved so thought I would check here first.

I would not expect this to go very well at all. The hardware may well be different from what that particular firmware is designed to work with.
Also, the calibration data in non-volatile memory would almost certainly be incorrect if swapped into another unit.
