BYD + VGX + MPPT 150/85 - Venus does not detect MPPT

Hello,

Our previous system setup was the following:

  • Color Control GX
  • Quattro 48/5000/70
  • Pro 2.5-10.0 battery box with 2 Lithium Ion Battery Cells
  • BlueSolar charge controller MPPT 150/85

As BYD batteries require using a Ve.Can port of Color Control GX, we were not able to communicate MPPT with our system and charge batteries with solar panels.

We have bought a new Venus GX and have replaced the Color Control GX.

MPPT was connected to the Venus GX using its 2nd Ve.Can port.

MPPT turns on in Bulk mode, batteries are charging but Venus does not detect MPPT, it shows the system inverting (system is currently off-grid) while batteries are actually charging.

How could we solve this problem?

Did you configure the CANbus port correctly?

There is an additional menu option in the services menu of the settings screen of the GX.
