VRM adding two Easy Solars

Installed two Easy Solar-II GX in parallel for single phase operation. Added one of the Easy Solars to the VRM but can't see the devices for the second Easy Solar. Can both these devices be added to the VRM so that the real data of both devices can be seen under one log in on the VRM.

No when the two are paralleled they are combined as one unit , also only one GX unit can be used.

both units outputs would be the same or would be half the total reading

so you should get a easysolar II GX and a Multiplus II then you only have one GX unit. you can still parallel these as they are still the same units inside

Each EasySolar-II GX has a GX device but in one system only one GX can be used (the other have to be disconnected inside).

If you connect two ES-II GX in parallel you can see them on VRM in the "device list" menu.

(In above example you can see two units on L2.)

Problem with two ES-II in parallel is that not only you can have only one GX active but you will not see the MPPT connected inside ES-II to that unused GX.

Instead of connecting two ES-II GX in parallel, one ES-II GX and one MultiPlus-II (same size) should be connected in parallel.

This way you have double power, one GX and one MPPT.

If you need second MPPT buy it separately.

Adding third GX (Color control) is even worst because when the two GX units inside both ES-II GX are not used you will not see both MPPTs.
