Does anyone know if there is a way for me to programmatically pull metrics from either the device itself or the console? I want to be able to store, analyze, and alert on metrics that is mixed with other data I currently have from my devices.

Take a look in the figure below about the device data flow, I mean, Is this what you are intending to do? This is kind of topology for your Victron device in the LoRaWAN. The LoRaWAN Network Server will have a API to send the Victron Devices payloads to Victron VRM Website.
