Increase Smart Battery Protect Overvoltage

Is it possible to increase the smart battery protect overvoltage from 32 to 33V?

I’m using Nissan Leaf batteries and so my 24V actual operational voltage on the high end is 32.88V and I’d love to be able to continue charging from the MPPT through my smart battery protect all the way to 32.88V instead of having to set it to 31.9V.

I really dont get your question as the battery protect does not do a high voltage disconnect.

if I am missing something please attach some pictures. and a wiring diagram of how you have things connected.

your batteries BMS should be controling the battery cell level shut downs anyway. and not the battery protect

As far as I know the Battery protect only disconnects at a low voltage setting and reconnects at a nominated figure. ie the battery drops to 24 v then it turns off and will not reconnect until it reaches the reset setting ie 25volts. or any nominated value.

however by using User defined select you can set many different levels

Thanks for the response @Paul B , it’s much appreciated.

In the attached picture you’ll see that the battery protect also offers an overvoltage disconnect at 32v for 24v systems.

It says the SBP operational voltage is up to 35v and so I would love to be able to adjust my overvoltage disconnect to 33v.

Perhaps this requires a node red modification?

For this application, could you just not use a battery protect and wire your BMS to the MPPT and buck/boost directly?
