BatteryProtect ok for generator starter?

Hi, I plan to use a Battery Protect to add LVD to the loads in a motorhome as part of a lithium conversion.

Due to layout it is easier to use a BP220 to protect the entire DC load bus but that also includes the generator starter feed - which is 100A.

The question is I do see that the BP doesn't like capacitive loads like an inverter and understand that. But what about inductive loads like a generator starter motor?

The other option would be rewire so the generator starter was not off the DC bus but sourced directly back to house batteries and use a contactor as the LVD. The issue here is a lot more wiring to run making the retrofit more complex.
