EasySolar 12/1600 to lithium settings?

Hi

I am about to install an EasySolar 12/1600, but there is little to no settings instructions for connecting to LifePO4 batteries (eg. dip/rotary switch settings etc)?

This is what I have…

  • EasySolar 12/1600
  • (4x) 100ah KS-Energy lithium batteries (internal BMS)
  • GX Color Control
  • Victron bluetooth shunt
  • (2x) 340W panels

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Brad, Glasgow, UK

Always best to use an mk3 for the victron inverter and the mppt with either the built in bluetooth or the ve direct to Bluetooth module. There are so many batteries out there bow there is no way a preset is ok for then all.

you need to use the Mk2/3 and VE configure to set the endpoint voltages from the battery data to the multiplus, ans likewise the VE dicrect and Victron connect to set the battery parameters in the MPPT. As per comment, there are too many different batteries to get all the set points on the dip switches. Remember to allow 50mV above minimum voltages and 50 mV below maximum voltages. If the BMS has load stop output, this can be wired to the remote control input of the inverter, BUT make sure to enable this with the dip switches BEFORE you program the voltages / currents with the Mk2/3 as the inverter will revert to the dip switch settings when the #8 switch is toggled to store the remote enable.
