Expanding ve direct

Hello all.

I have cerboGX and I will like to expand ve direct ports

Question is -

If I get octoGX is possible link to cerboGX to create one network ( installation) or

It will work as separate system.

Hi @Darek,

it will work as a separate system. Only one GX device per system is allowed.

Instead of expanding VE.Direct ports, you can also use the USB ports of your Cerbo for more VE.Direct device. And when that's not enough, a active USB hub connected to one of the Cerbo GX USB ports will give you even more ports.

A small addition:

Only the first two USB ports from Cerbo GX can be used for data (with VE.Direct to USB cables or with a powered USB hub).

The USB port closest to the HDMI port is dedicated for powering the optional display.


The maximum number of VE.Direct devices which can be connected to Cerbo GX is 15.
