If battery is fully charged, shouldn't load provide power at night?

My battery is fully charged.

For testing purposes the Load setting is set to "Always On"

When the sun goes down there is no load output.

I would expect power to feed from battery to MPPT and out the load terminals.

What am I missing?

Thank you.

Do you have a jumper in VE.Direct port?

That would override the "Always On" setting.

seb71, thanks for your reply.

Yes, my jumper is off so that I can configure the mppt via my phone.

Load is not providing any power.

Any other ideas?

Do you use the "street light" function?

No I have not used the streetlight function. I would prefer to get power during the day as well. I posted the question with "no power at night" to indicate the power to Load goes out at night. During the day the pump fluctuated with the cloud cover and sun. I would expect a constant flow of energy coming from full battery.

The charging function of the mppt works great, as the battery is always full. Load does not seem to work correctly. It seems to get its energy from the panel and not the battery.

The Load output is limited to 15A. But if it works during the day, I suppose it should work during the night, too.

Still, did you test it with a small load (not the pump)?

Seb, the load works during the day, but only if there is full sun, when the clouds come over, the load stops. It does not work at all during the night because there is no solar energy coming from the panel. Despite the battery being completely charged.

I am at work and can't get the model number of the pump but it is very small. Max amps 1.5

Oh, now I have not checked that. I will do that tonight when I get home. Thank you for that suggestion.
