Victron Phoenix multi 12

Hi


We have had the above literally catch fire. Has anyone else experienced this failure. Very lucky and this is a real safety concern

This can happen if there is a bad connection in the wiring connections going into the unit and many other reasons, IE water or moisture entry, exhaust smoke getting into the unit ,if its mounted in the engine room and many more reasons.

you would need to take the unit in for repair to have any idea as to why this could have happened

otherwise I have not seen one of these with this sort of issue
