bluetooth and windows 10

Are Victron still unable to sort out bluetooth connection to Smart products ? I just wasted several frustrating hours trying to connect. My new laptop pairs with the device but Victron connect is unable to. Sitting here with my smartphone which connects easily. Finally decided to look in here and find that this is an old problem!. If it really is impossible perhaps Victron should let users know. There are so many ways Bluetooth fails to do what it should, so why not let us know and save us the frustration ?

Hi Robert, yes unfortunately its Bluetooth is still not made to work properly on Windows.

Where did you see wording from us that implies it works on Windows? The VictronConnect manual is very clear on this I thought. And also on Windows I first see this:

And then when I click the "Don't see the product you were looking for?" button, I see this:

The only place where its not clear is here on our product pages, we'll consider revising that:

Hi MVader, Thanks for your reply. As I could see the device on my 'phone I assumed it was a Windows problem. My PC Bluetooth can see the the device but not connect. That sent me all over the place but not to your suggested option on the app. Thanks again.
