Cerbo and LM335z

Hi Guys,

Cannot get LM335z to work on Cerbo temperature inputs. Cerbo shows ‘reverse polarity’.

With 335 connected, analogue input is 0.73V; which doesn't look right me. Tried two 335z devices on two different analogue inputs.

Do I need any additional components?

Many thanks.

Hi @SV-Gabrielle

this has been discussed quite often here in the community.

For example here: Venus GX, temperature sensor issues

Venus GX and Cerbo GX use identical temperature sensors and connection.

Ah, missed that post as I searched for LM335z and not LM335.

Many thanks.

Answer ... my LM335z was a fake!

If your Cerbo reads ~0.7V from the sensor with caption 'reverse polarity', your LM335z is actually a transistor marked by counterfeiters as a LM335z.

Were you able to fix this issue purchasing the correct sensor? Mine is reading 0.74v so I guees I had the same problem you had. Thanks
