Shore power problem

Having a problem connecting shore power. I have a multiplus 3000 120 16 together with 100/30 and 100/50 smart mppt with a Cerbo gx. When I connect the ac in it throws the main beaker on the dock. Tried not connecting the earth...same. If I disconnect the ac out all works good and charges my batteries. Now the weird bit. With the shore power disconnected the inverter powers the whole boat without a problem. Any ideas?

"main beaker on the dock"

What type is that? MCB? RCBO?

Pretty sure it’s a MCB

Then it's not an residual current issue.

It's either a short or overcurrent.

Best guees is that the dock has its Active and neutral connection the wrong way around or the cord to the boat does

try reversing the two connections in your cord the brown and blue or in the USA black and white

I would check if the Line and Neutral are correct. Not just reverse them and see what happens.
