Octo GX - Only 6 ports working?

New Octo GX, updated to firmware 2.60, with 7 new smart shunts connected with ve.direct cables.

The "lower" 6 ve.direct ports work fine, the upper 4 do not. We've got 7 smart shunts - swapping cables around between different shunts and different ve.direct ports has confirmed no shunts work on the "upper" 4 ports, but they do work on the lower. Suspecting it's a hardware problem but wanted to see if it's a known thing since it seems coincidental the working ports are all on the same side. Restarting with different ports in use hasn't made a difference.

Hi @emly, welcome to the Community!

This sounds like a defective unit; please contact the authorized Victron dealer/distributor from whom you purchased the unit and, while they may have additional troubleshooting steps for you to perform, they will otherwise handle a warranty replacement for you.

If you're unsure as to your supplier, you can use this handy form that will allow Victron to look up the distributor who sold the unit, based on the unit's serial number, and ask the distributor to get in touch with you with support options.
