In an installation of two panels in parallel with the victron smartsolar MPPT 100/50, is there a way to control the presence of the panels by VE.direct (RS232)?

Do you mean that you want the MPPT to detect if the panels are present of not?
If so, this feature is not available. Also, if it would detect theft by Voltage, then what would be the difference in the night time when there is also 0V?
