VE.Direct Non inverting cable connectet to D+ from engine.

Hey

In our car we use the Smart Solar 75/10.

Now i'm looking for a way to stop charging while the engine is on. Can i use the VE.Direct non inverting cable for that? So if i plug it to the D+ of the car, would the MPPT stop charging?

I'd like to do that because i've a dc-dc charger (Victron Orion-TR) and while the engine is on i prefer to charge the lifepo over the dc-dc-charger.
