4WD Setup advice for DCDC & Solar

Hi Team,

I'm after advice about which products and their configuration would best suit my purposes:

I have a 4WD with a new 240Ah Lithium battery on its way to power my fridge in the back. I also have a 200W solar panel to be permanently connected to the roof. I'm after a solution for charging from alternator and solar. I've seen some DCDC chargers that have integrated solar input as well (Redarc & Intervolt) but I'm a fan of the Victron app and being able to really drill down on the settings and history.

Can anyone recommend how to set up, say an Orion and a SmartSolar to achieve my objective? Is there a more elegant solution that won't break the bank? I also have the BMV-712 monitor on its way so I can obsess over capacity like the nerd that I am.

Thank you in advance.

Troy

I'm a victron for work and had a redark dual battery on 4wd my prior 4wd. Current one is yet to get some fun stuff like the winch and dual battery.

Susspect your question is well over my limited knowledge. Getting it right is great, getting it wrong in a far far from home fun place is not. Loved visiting some very cool victron and Off grid + mobile knowledge par excellence people at Retro Looms. https://www.retrolooms.com.au/ You might like to consider them.

I would ask but think Dc to Dc set up with https://www.redarc.com.au/solar or Victon would both be stable and do the trick. Make sure the fridge is not on the starting battery is my best tip. FYI No I did not. :)
