Alternative to frequency shifting for adjusting AC PV power?

Hello, questions- is their a victron version of Selectronics managed AC coupling instead of the current frequency shifting as this is more precise and would eliminate any clock timer issues as well..

If not something for the Victron team to look at implementing perhaps?

Cheers...

Hi @Drae,

There is a version of this already implemented for some PV inverters. It is used when AC PV inverter power adjustment is required on an ESS system, as the frequency can not be shifted (because it's set by the grid).

As far as I know, there are no intentions to offer it instead of frequency shifting when off grid. The current situation works well enough, though there are some issues that you mentioned.

Victron is staying focused on improving DC solar to go places where people would want to use AC :)
