Setting Charge Times from Grid

Hi, newbie here. I have recently had Solar PV and Pylontech batteries installed, all fed through a Multiplus 5000 and an MPPT.
I have moved onto Octopus Agile which has a changing unit rate during the day, I need to ensure that my batteries are sufficiently charged to get me through the expensive part of the day. How do I set my system to charge the batteries from the grid at set times ?

Hello @Darrens1973 You have to run the ESS assistant and set the charging schedule there. I use the OctopusGO tariff, although I do not have a PV installation. Still reduced my electricity bill by 60% in doing so.

If your installer has remote access to the system via the VRM portal, they can easily help you. Otherwise, you have to install it on your GX device if not already installed and will then be found in the ESS settings menu. The assistant can be added using ve.config with a PC and MK3 dongle OR you can do it via the VRM portal by downloading the config file, amending it and then uploading it.

Everything explained in the documentation below. Happy reading.
