Smart BP220 the 90 seconds load disconnect delay does not seem to be active

I use my BP220 to protect the main battery of a small motor boat. The idea was only to protect the battery if the main switch is left on for a night.

I see the following behaviour:

- If the switch off voltage is on 11V or similar, all works fine but the system cuts immediatly if I crank the engine.

- If I lower the switch off voltage to as low as 8.5V, the engine starts perfectly

So, my only explanation would be that the 90 seconds disconnect delay is not working. If it would work, the engine should start and all would be fine because within 2 seconds we are back to normal voltage.

Any help would be super welcomed!!
