Color Controller GX keeps rebooting

Have a Color Controller GX with

1 - BMV-712,

1 - 12/3000Multi Plus.

2 - SmartSolar 100|50,


VE bus connects the Multiplus to the CCGX

VE Direct connects BMV-712 to CCGX

Each smart solar connect to a VE Direct to USB which combine in a hub and are connected to one USB port on the CCGX.

I also have a MK3 to USB box

This system keeps rebooting several times a day.

From other discussions I assume it is running a version of Linux. I can

Are there log files which will tell me why it is rebooting

Hi @Dark Horse, yes its Linux - login is here: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ccgx:root_access .

Normally we don't require customers to login to the console though ;o).

The first thing to check is Settings -> VRM Portal -> Reboot device when no contact. See GX manual for details on that function.

Thanks @mvader (Victron Energy) I checked and it was in this position


I assume that the position shown will cause it to reboot if no internet connection

If so then I can state we had no internet access for a long time so that would likely be the reason.


I changed it so that the blue dot is white and not visible which I assume is off.
