CCGX Ethernet Issue - Both lights on even when cable is disconnected

Hi,

I have Ethernet connection issue.

The CCGX can't make the connection finally..

Before all was good.

The situation is:

The both LED's on Ethernet connector is always ON (no difference LAN cable connected or no),

Message on the screen: Retrieving IP adr.

LAN connection is possible only via WIFI, but WIFI connection droppings accrue..

Solutions how to repair Ethernet connection will very welcome.

Hi @Dalius

You have the cable connected to the VE.Bus port.


Run a new factory manufactured ethernet cable to the Ethernet port.

Even if it is only temporary, to eliminate a bad crimp connection on that self made cable as the point of failure.

If the Wifi connection is weak, use the long range wifi adapter with larger antenna.


If all that fails, you may wish to begin a warranty procedure.

Hi Guy,


Yes, VE.Bus port is connected to Quattro..

I tried different types of cables..
Original configuration is on picture (factory made cable). No any positives.
The main thing is: any responses on Ethernet cable connection from CCGX..LED's still on..

P.S. The router side connection is O.K., all connected devices to the router are working, all router connectors are tested,- working good too.

The CCGX is 6 Years on duty, so this is not warranty case?..

Next step is to try the long range wifi adapter. Part number BPP900200300

Then attempt the warranty procedure.
