Cyrix ct 230 with 110 amp alternator

I am interested in using the Cyrix Ct with a 110 amp alternator. I know the Cyrix Ct 120 is more inline with the requirements, but I'd prefer to have the LED status for future trouble shooting. Is there a problem with this idea, other than cost factor?

Hi @Steve, no problem at all - the Cyrix-ct 230A model is rated to handle 230A continuous, but that doesn't mean that it needs that much current for anything.
