Capturing Data from BMV-702 to PC or Labview

Im working on a project for my school, an AGV that is controlled by a ROS PC and a CompactRIO. The AGV has a Battery Balancer, Shunt and BMV-702 that monitors the 4 lead batteries that power it. My Lecture requested that I somehow capture the data from the BMV-702 (Battery voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed, and state of charge), and display it in the user interface we have in Labview. I'm still at the research phase but have found no documentation on how to accomplish this, or even if it is possible.

There is quite a lot of information here:

Look towards the bottom of the list for a document called VE.Direct Protocol.
The VE.Direct HEX BMV Protocol may also be of interest to you.
