Venus OS permanent hostname change

Is there any way to permanently change the hostname for the Venus OS device? I'm running it on an RPi 3B and if I change the hostname in /etc/hostname it survives reboots but not firmware upgrades.

A static and custom hostname is handy when attempting to access the device from the LAN. A hostname of 'raspberrypi2' isn't very useful or friendly.

Why was this closed @Jeroen? I already searched this forum for "hostname" and there were only 4 results, none of which answered my question.

Because it is already discussed over and over again, see e.g. https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/13646/upgrading-pi-erased-settings.html
