Oversize solar panels

Hi

I have 2 x 100 watt solar panels on my roof with a Victron 75/15 MPPT charge controller connected in parallel

The max PV short circuit is 5.56 amps

I have the space to add another 100 watt panel, can I fit this without damaging my MPPT?

TIA

Hi @Big Ste,

Yes, you can. Provided that when you connect another panel, the sum of open circuit voltages (Voc) from your panels doesn't exceed the maximum Voltage (75V) of your MPPT. This would damage the MPPT.
