On my liveaboard I have a 100/20 MPPT controller, I notice in the settings I can set voltage levels for the load connection to switch on and off.
Can I set this so that when battery voltage is full is switches a relay on and dumps solar power into a water heater (for example) and then when the battery voltage has dropped it switches it back off again?
I am building a wind turbine to take advanatge of the windy conditions to add to the system so am likely to have a fair bit of spare power.
I have a LiPo4 battery so am not to concerned about the extra cycling but I am very new to solar so i just want to make sure this is safe and/or won't effect reliability.
