Argo FET peak amperage?

The Argo FET spec sheet lists a single max charge/alternator current - like 100A. The BatteryProtect spec sheets list a max continuous and a peak (30 sec) current - like 100A continuous, 600A peak. Do the Argo FET units really have no head room?
