Ve Configure 3 assistant to manage AC input on ESS self consumption

Hello,

I have a Solar System using two Quattros 5kW, a Solar Charger 250V/100A. Inverters are connected to main AC from grid.

We want to use first Self-Consumption Hub-1 to keep batteries charge and having solar with grid to support in day time.

We need to know what type of assistant to use in order to use batteries for night time let's say from 18:00 to 6:00 and next day both solar charger and grid will recharge batteries.

Also we need to have another assistant to handle to event of reconnect grid to recharge battery bank in the case batteries are reaching low state of charge over the night.

What you are describing is what ESS does. When programmed you can use the colour control to set minimum SOC to sustain overnight at which point is switches to grid and then recharges off solar the following day. As far as i am aware using time is not possible.

If your solar day ends earlier than 18:00 then you can schedule a charge in so that your batteries begin the evening 100%. With ESS enabled there are so many other option available and accessible through the GX.
