BMV-700H - For EV Conversion SOC Memory Erased

I have wired in and mounted a BMV-700H on the dashboard of an EV conversion. I have the BMV settup so it turns off with the ignition to reduce the parasitic drain on the main EV battery pack however every time the BMV resets / I turn the car on it seems to erase the SOC and Ah reading memory and reads 100% SOC and 0Ah. Is there any way to prevent the BMV from doing this or can I just not switch off the BMV to have an accurate SOC reading?

Hi Jonas. You'll need to leave the BMV on for it to retain anything. It's power draw is specced at <4mA (backlight off). That's pretty low, a little like a wall-clock you never turn off. At 12V, 0.05W.
