BMV 712 / MPPT Control / both ?

Hi !

For a SmartSolar MPPT Controller 75/10 is it usefull to get the "MPPT Control" screen ? Does it display more information related to the MPPT Controller than a BMV 712 like the charger state, etc ?

I'am planning to get the SmartSolar Controller and the BMV 712 but hesitate to get the "MPPT Control" screen. I know that all MPPT data are displayed in the mobile app but I like having direct info in the van like charger state, yield, etc.

Hi ST. The BMV has the similar housed unit already, and I think you'd be wasting money personally.

Both your units have bluetooth functionality, and to make changes (as compared to a panel monitor), they'd be likely more conveniently made on a compatible phone.

You could add one in later if you choose, but I'll bet you dont.. :)
