Hi, I have fitted a Orion 30/12 b2b and also a 150ah lithium battery, all working fine, however I have recently used mains hook up and noticed the B2B charger is getting very hot although the engine has not been running and we are connected only to mains whilst on a campsite.
How is this happening and is it normal, I am quite confident with wiring, input to b2b direct from engine battery and output to leisure battery. I have also fitted a Victron battery monitor.
I have wondered about wiring in a switch to turn off/on B2B when needed, i.e. off when on hook up etc.
Any help appreciated
