Hi, I've looked at all options re clamp from consumer unit down to inverter (50m)
ET112 - RS485 client - LAN - RS485 Server -> Victron Rs485 to USB cable Multiplus 2 GX (ESS)
However, there's a fair bit of effort involved with all this and ET112 in the above LAN approach is not meant to be super responsive. Also there is no space in my consumer unit for the ET112.
I had a thought, I have a new octopus SMETS2 smart meter (UK). I can buy a new smart meter (glow) that broadcasts MQTT every 10 seconds (protocol new to me). I've seen mention of modbus TCP server? However I'm guessing that is way too slow. Does anyone have any tips advice that could be of use? help appreaciated!
