Skylla-TG blown fuse

The circuit board in one of my Skylla-TG 24/100 has a blown fuse. It's hard to access on the board and so far no luck extracting it. A - is this typically replacable/ known issue. B - can the entire board be replaced?

Hi @rhroberts,

It depends which fuse has blown. From the manual:

A broken input fuse. -> Return the charger to your dealer.

The output fuses are broken. - > Replace the output fuses.

Output fuses - 8 x 20A alt text

It's not one of those. It's buried on the board, pic attached. It's crumbled due to trying to remove it. And, after further inspection, the varistor behind it (to the left in the pic) is chared/ damaged/ broken.

A trip to the dealer then I'm afraid.

It is almost always the case when that fuse goes, there is some other internal fault. Replacing the fuse will not fix the fault. The fuse is to protect further damage from the other fault, and not intended to be replaced.
